The Hunger Relief Organization, Inc (HeRO) is committed to breaking the cycle of extreme poverty by providing food and education to those strugglin to survive.

HeRO focuses on the simple but powerful concept of synergy to end the hunger crisis. The effect of our cooperative action is greater than the sum of the individual parts. We are part of an international network (of volunteers) of individuals, businesses, and organizations that raise funds to deliver life-giving supplies from the U.S. to relief projects. This involves coordinating efforts to respond to requests for help, safely delivering and storing usable resources, and reaching the people we are determined to help. HeRO is committed to strengthening national and local capacity through:

1. Community nutrition programs
2. Homegrown school feeding programs
3. Investments in farming, clean water
4. Public awareness on hunger issues and strong advocacy organizations.
